Biography
My name is Dong Keon (Edward) Kim, but everyone calls me Edward. I am part of Wakefield School's Class of 2020, and I will be attending University of Pennsylvania to study Logic, Information, and Computation (LGIC). I enjoy hanging out with my friends, listening to music, watching videos, cooking, and playing with my dogs. I played lacrosse from sophomore to senior year, but the COVID-19 canceled my senior season. I chose my thesis topic because I have a Korean background, and I wanted to learn more about it. Wherever I go, people know South Korea, but it is clearly a country overlooked upon. I love visiting South Korea, and I believe it is a great country. I hope my thesis can help others understand South Korea's history and why South Korea should not be undermined.
